FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Pennsylvania track & field teams brought home a pair of individual wins from the IC4A/ECAC Championships over the weekend, highlighted by a meet record in the men's pole vault. The three-day meet was hosted by George Mason University.

Senior
Scott Toney set an IC4A meet record in the men's pole vault, clearing a personal-best 5.54 meters (18 feet 2 inches) to win the event ahead of teammate
James Rhoads. Benedikt Sachta was fourth, just missing out on giving the Quakers a clean sweep. Toney's height also puts him second on the program's top 10 list, behind only Rhoads. Penn also got third-place finishes from
Kampton Kam in the high jump and
Silas Ruth in the steeplechase.
Penn's other win came on the women's side, as
Sarah Lavery took top honors in the high jump with a height of 1.73 meters (5 feet 8 inches).
Evangeline Thomson took second in the women's pole vault, while
Angeludi Asaah was third in the women's discus on Sunday.
