Hanover, N.H. – The 66th-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team outlasted Dartmouth, 4-2 to close out the regular season.

Despite dropping the doubles point, the Quakers rattled off four singles victories in route to the comeback victory, as Baylor Sai clinched the match.

The Big Green took the doubles point with victories at the first and third positions. At No. 1, Alex Knox-Jones/Henry Ren downed Kian Vakili/Aaron Sandler 6-3 to take the early advantage. Parashar Bharadwaj/Manfredi Graziani rattled off a 6-3 win over Carlos Alvarez Guerrero/Hikaru Takeda at No. 2, as the doubles point came down to court three.

Miles Groom/Waleed Qadir edged Matthew Rutter/Sai, 5-7 to solidify the doubles point.

In singles play, Rutter fell 6-2, 6-4 to Yujiro Onuma at the fourth slot, as Dartmouth took a 2-0 lead.

From there, Sandler took down Takeda, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 5 to get Penn on the board. At No. 2, Vakili was downed by Alvarez Guerrero in a three-set battle (6-1, 2-6, 6-2) to put the Big Green within one point of clinching the match.

At the sixth position, Bharadwaj bested Knox-Jones in another highly contested three set match, to pull the Red and Blue within one, 3-2.

Graziani earned wins in the first and second sets in route to his win (7-5, 3-6, 6-4) at No. 1 over Dartmouth's Ren to tie the match, 3-3.

With all eyes on court three, Sai bounced back from a 6-4 loss in set one, to win two sets in a row (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) over Groom, to seal the match, 4-3.

With the win, the Quakers end the season 16-12, 2-5 in Ivy League play, 12-5 at home and 3-6 on the road.
