PHILADELPHIA- The 59th-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team dropped its match against Yale this afternoon, 4-2 at the Hecht Tennis Center.
The Quakers won the doubles point, but four singles victories, including three in a row, helped the Bulldogs emerge with the win.
At No. 2,

Baylor Sai then got a huge 7-5 win over Dylan Tsoi/Ji Zhengqing at No. 3, to ensure the doubles point.
In singles action, the match between Vakili and Dean was retired in the first game of the second set, resulting in the victory for Yale, which evened the match, 1-1.
At No. 1, Gogineni downed Graziani 6-1, 6-1, to give the Bulldogs the 2-1 lead.
Sandler was defeated by Ji 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 to make the match 3-1.
Needing just one more victory to ensure the win, Penn's Rutter bested Reilly 6-1, 6-4 at No. 5, to keep the Quakers within reach, 3-2.
At a highly contested battle at No. 3, Yale's Li, defeated Sai 6-3, 7-6 to earn the 4-2 victory.
Among matches that did not finish, Bharadwaj was in the first game of the third set when his match was abandoned.
