LEONIA, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's lightweight crew swept the Dodge and Colgan Cups against Yale and defending champion Columbia on Saturday morning at Overpeck Park, in the process bringing the Marcellus Hartley Dodge Cup back to Boathouse Row for the first time since 1992.
Penn was victorious in the Varsity Eights race for the Dodge Cup win, and a win in the Second Varsity Eights race clinched the Colgan Cup (total team points) for the day. This was just the second year of the Colgan Cup in this racing

Penn's fourth-ranked boat rowed to a four-second victory over tenth-ranked Columbia, who was seven seconds ahead of sixth-ranked Yale.

Second Varsity Eights
The Quakers were able to get open water in this race on both the Lions and the Bulldogs, stroking to a nearly five-second win as Columbia edged Yale for second.

Best finish of the day, the Bulldogs nipping the Quakers by seven-tenths of a second for the win. The Lions were third, a little more than five seconds behind Penn.
