PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior
Matt Fallon picked up two big victories on Sunday as the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team closed out a second-place finish at Princeton's Big Al Invitational at DeNunzio Pool.
Fallon excelled in both the 1,650 freestyle and the 200 breaststroke to pace the Quakers after a strong weekend overall in the pool.

*Fallon began the afternoon with a dominant victory in the mile, swimming a 15:07.24 which proved to be an NCAA B-Cut mark.
James Curreri took second place with a B-Cut time of 15:10.53.
Cooper Nicholson placed seventh at 15:30.17.
*Fallon also picked up a win in the 200 breast with a B-Cut time of 1:51.56,
Peter Whittington taking third place at 1:55.40.
Colin Zhang swam a time of 1:57.28 to take fifth.

Daniel Gallagher swam a 1:45.37 in the 200 backstroke to earn a fourth-place finish, while Nicholson took seventh (1:50.29) and Curreri placed eighth at 1:51.73.

Liam Campbell's 44.03 in the 100 freestyle was good enough for fifth place.

Max Malakhovets finished with in the 200 butterfly, clocking a 1:45.73.

Can John Yeniay, and Campbell took fifth in the 400 free relay at 2:58.02.

The Quakers have a little over a month off before resuming the schedule in New Haven on Jan. 11 against Yale and Dartmouth.
