PHILADELPHIA- The University of Pennsylvania's women soccer players
Maya Leschly,
Kat Peroulas,
Annabel Austen,
Clare Robke, and
Abbey Cook were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for their determination on the field hard work in the classroom.
To be eligible for honor players must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher while being a starter or key player on their team.
Senior
Maya Leschly made her first All-Ivy team this season after playing and starting every game for the Quakers. Second, the team in minutes played 1426 behind goalkeeper
Annabel Austen, and played a pivotal role in the Quakers' defense.
Senior
Kat Peroulas is another senior who has played and started in every game for the Red and Blue. She's made great plays and even changed her position from forward to midfielder to allow success for others on the team.
Junior
Annabel Austen won her first All-Ivy first team award and first Academic All-Ivy award this season after playing every minute for the Quakers. The goalkeeper was fourth in the Ivy League in saves, collected 74 saves in the season with a percentage of 1.25. Austen was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week three times.
Junior
Clare Robke has played and started in every game for the Quakers. She was third in minutes this season on the team with 1421 and was exceptional on the defensive end.
Sophomore
Abbey Cook has played every match for the Quakers and started in six of them. She tied with the most goals this season on the team with
Isabella Zulli, scoring this goal for the Quakers in their home opener against Towson, and again in their first shutout win against Temple.
