How It Happened
The first half was a defensive affair that didn't see many scoring chances between both squads. Darcey Chapman and Riley Thomson had shots on target in the final minute of the half but Delaware made both saves.

Penn struck first halfway into the third quarter off a penalty corner. Ryan sent a shot towards the cage which Loozen redirected for the 1-0 lead.

Delaware tied it early in the fourth quarter. Noelle Sabbagh flipped a pass to Janne Stoetzer. From the left side of the circle, Stoetzer sent a screamer past Ruby de Frees for the goal.

The Blue Hens scored the eventually game-winner with three minutes remaining. After two unsuccessful penalty corners in a row, they would capitalize on the third. Stoetzer set up Iris Bekker for a shot Penn couldn't get to in time.
