BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania cross country teams took the gravel for the first time on Friday evening at the Lehigh Invitational, collecting top individual finishes in both races. The women's team took first with a perfect 15 points, while the men took second with 37 points.

On the women's side, the Quakers sealed up the top five spots in the 6K led by
Maeve Stiles with the individual victory on a time of 20:32.6. Not only did Penn take the top five spots, but they took eight of the top 10 spots.

The men's team also secured the individual win behind
Dylan Throop's time of 18-minutes flat on the 6K course.

The Quakers will train for two weeks before making the short trek to their next event on Friday, September 15 at the Main Line Invitational, an annual race held at Haverford College.
