Previewing Penn
Penn picked up another Ivy League series win, going 3-1 on the week. The Quakers came back to take two of three from Yale, picking up a 1-0, walk-off win in Game 2 of a doubleheader Saturday and an 11-1 win in the rubber game on Sunday. After totaling just eight hits across the doubleheader Saturday, Penn exploded for 13 on Sunday. Ben Miller had three hits and three RBI, Cole Palis had three hits and two runs, and Jackson Appel had two hits and two runs. Wyatt Henseler tied the program's career home run record, slugging his 26th in Sunday's win. Cole Zaffiro extended his scoreless streak to more than 14 innings with a career-high 10 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work in Saturday's 1-0 win.

On Monday, he was named the Ivy League's Pitcher of the Week. Brian Zeldin retired all nine batters he faced in three perfect innings of relief on Sunday. In the win over Monmouth last Wednesday, a quintet of relievers tossed 5.2 innings of scoreless relief. Penn ended the weekend in a tie with Columbia for first place in the Ivy standings.

Scouting Rider
The Broncs are 27-13 on the season and 11-4 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play, winning all five conference series and sitting just a half-game back of first place.

Seven everyday players are hitting .270 or better for a team hitting .273, led by Brian Skettini (.322) and Jack Winsett (.319). Thanks to a team-high 12 home runs (and 43 RBI), Brendan O'Donnell leads the team with a .993 OPS.

With a trio of high-usage relievers all under a 3.00 ERA, the pitching staff ranks first in the MAAC in ERA, more than one-and-a-half runs per game better than any other conference team. They've also yielded a .261 opponent batting average, also tops in the conference. Danny Kirwin has allowed just two runs in his last 15.2 innings, allowing three hits and walking eight while striking out 24. Clayton Poliey has tossed 11.1 consecutive scoreless innings in relief, allowing four hits and walking seven while striking out 13.
