Penn shot 298 as a team on Saturday, shaving 14 strokes off their score from Friday. That was tied for the third-best score among the seven teams in the tournament and moved the Quakers ahead of Cornell into sixth place with a two-day score of 610. Princeton leads the way after shooting a staggering 7-under-par 281 on Saturday. That has the Tigers at 590 through two rounds, eight shots ahead of Dartmouth. But only 20 strokes separate first and sixth place, so there is room for plenty of drama on Sunday.

Mark Haghani had Penn's low score on Saturday, a 1-over-par 73, and ended the day at 152. He was tied for 12th with teammate
