PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team picked up its 21
st straight home win and fourth win in the last week with a 4-1 victory over Delaware Sunday afternoon from Hecht Tennis Center.
Manfredi Graziani and
Aditya Gupta picked up a win at No. 2 doubles, but the Blue Hens came away with the early point.
Penn did not rail for long as Gupta picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles and Graziani added a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4, putting the Quakers in front, 2-1. At No. 3,
Harsh Parikh picked up his fourth straight singles win (6-3, 6-4), inching Penn ever closer to victory.
Playing at No. 5 for just the second time this season,
Baylor Sai closed out the match with a 7-6 (4), 7-5 win. The Quakers improved to 51-33 in singles matches this Spring, a 60.7 winning percentage.
