PRINCETON – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team picked up its first Top-50 win of the season, opening Ivy League play for the Spring 2023 season with a 6-1 win over #46 Princeton Saturday from Jadwin Gymnasium.

Manfredi Graziani/
Aditya Gupta won 6-4 at No. 3.
Gupta took the first singles match of the day at No. 2, putting Penn up 2-0. After Princeton got on the board with a win at No. 1,
Kevin Zhu grabbed a straight-set win at No. 3, putting Penn on the cusp of victory.
Three days after breaking a 3-3 tie to snap Temple's 16-match winning streak,
Manfredi Graziani picked up another match-clinching win at No. 5, handing the Tigers just their third home loss in 18 matches dating back to the start of last Spring. Parikh and
Baylor Sai tacked on two more Red and Blue wins at No. 4 and 6 to close out the match.
Following last Spring's 7-0 final, Penn has now won consecutive matches against the Tigers for the first time since winning four in a row from 2005 to 2007.
