LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team, #49 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, fell 5-2 to #34 UCLA in the second match of their California Spring Break trip Wednesday evening.
After UCLA won the first doubles match of the day, the

Aditya Gupta pair picked up a 6-2 win at No. 2, with the point coming down to the winner of the No. 1 match.
Edoardo Graziani and
Kevin Zhu, the #5 team in the ITA rankings, remained perfect in the Spring with a 7-6 (1) win, putting Penn up 1-0.
UCLA opened singles action with three close victories, grabbing a 3-1 lead. With Penn's backs against the wall, (Manfredi) Graziani picked up a straight-set win, pulling Penn back within one at 3-2.
Baylor Sai battled back after dropping the first set to square his match at No. 6, but eventually fell in three as UCLA clinched the match, moments before (Edoardo) Graziani had leveled his match at No. 1 at one set apiece. UCLA's Patrick Zahraj took a super tiebreaker, 11-9, to close out the evening's action
