Previewing Penn
Penn is 9-4 in its last 13 games after an 0-3 start in the season, including series wins over Tulane and UMass, adding a 7-4, 10-inning road win over Lehigh on Wednesday.

Ben Miller has hit safely in 11 straight games, batting .400 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and 14 runs during that stretch. Cole Palis has hit safely in each of his last four starts since returning from an early season injury, hitting .467 with five runs and five RBI.

Since allowing three runs in his first inning of work this season, Carson Ozmer has allowed just one run and seven hits while striking out eight over 10.1 innings.

Last weekend, the starting pitching trio of Owen Coady, Cole Zaffiro, and Ryan Dromboski had a combined ERA of 1.42 with 27 strikeouts over 17 innings. Coady struck out a career-high 11 in the series opener Friday, Zaffiro struck out seven in a career-high seven shutout innings in Game 1 on Saturday, and Dromboski struck out a career-high nine in Saturday's series finale.

Scouting the Crimson
After a 1-1 start to the season, the Crimson dropped 12 in a row before a win over Texas A&M Corpus-Christi last Saturday.

At the plate, the Crimson are led by George Cooper's .346 average, with Ben Rounds, the team's only other .300 hitter, leading or tied for the team lead in home runs (three) and RBI (14).

On the mound, the Crimson's weekend rotation has been Jay Driver, Chris Clark, and Sean Matson. All three pitchers have an ERA above 5.00 with 68 strikeouts in 57.2 innings between them; Clark's 30 strikeouts leads the trio (and the team). Driver and Matson both turned in their best starts of the season last weekend against A&M Corpus-Christi.
