PHILADELPHIA –The University of Pennsylvania's fencing teams will send five men and six women to the NCAA Championships on the campus of Duke University March 23-26.
The NCAA Championship participants paired strong regular season records (40 percent of selection criteria) with high finishes at Regionals (60 percent of selection criteria), earning the opportunity to compete for a National Championship. 10 of the 11 NCAA competitors won at least 57.9 percent of their bouts during the regular season and finished in the top nine in their respective weapon at Regionals two weekends ago at Lafayette.
