PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's fencing team completed the 2025 Ivy League fencing championships in The Palestra on Sunday evening, with a Quaker earning All-Ivy Honors
Sabrina Cho earned second-team All-Ivy in foil off a sixth-place finish in the championships. As a team, the Red and Blue placed fourth, posting a 2-4 overall record. The Quakers picked up a win over #5 Cornell (15-12) and dropped battles to #7 Brown (14-13) and #3 Harvard (20-7) to finish the tournament.
Senior Cho led the charge for Penn, claiming sixth place in foil of a 10-7 record. Fellow senior
Katina Proestakis Ortiz closely followed in eighth place (9-8). Senior
Vivian Lu (saber) and sophomore
Victoria Kuznetsov (epee) landed ninth in their respective weapons to round out the Quakers in the top ten.
