BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania baseball team heads north for a Keystone State showdown Wednesday afternoon with Lehigh.
Penn is fresh off a home series win over Massachusetts, capped by a 28-run day in a doubleheader sweep Saturday.

Previewing Penn
The Quakers run-ruled Villanova last Wednesday, 15-5 in seven innings, then swept a doubleheader Saturday against Massachusetts, capped by a 19-4 triumph in the second game.
Seven players hit over .300 for the week, led by
Seth Werchan who hit .500 with two homers and six RBI.

Davis Baker, and
Jackson Appel all had at least three RBI and four runs as the Quakers averaged more than 10 runs per game. On Monday, Werchan was named Ivy League Player of the Week while Baker repeated as Rookie of the Week.
On the mound, Penn's staff has pitched to a 4.50 ERA this season, yielding an overall opponents' batting average of .229, allowing four runs per game in their three midweek games this season.
Tommy Delany was dominant in 1.2 innings of relief last week, striking out five of seven batters faced, including four in one inning.
Scouting Lehigh
The Mountain Hawks are hitting .299 with seven everyday players hitting over .280 and four hitting over .300, led by Tyler Young's team-best .362 mark. The team has had at last three runs and five hits in every game this season, scoring 10 runs or more six times.
Andrew Kohl has seven home runs in 19 games and Casey Rother is right behind him with six; the duo have hit more than half of the team's 23 round-trippers thus far.
The pitching staff has allowed just nine runs in the team's last four games, coming into Wednesday with an ERA of 4.19 for the year.
Shane O'Neill has made eight scoreless appearances this season spanning 13.2 innings, going at least 1.0 IP in all eight outings. The duo of Lucas Rich and Tyler Thompson have allowed one run in seven appearances totaling 9.2 innings, allowing five hits and striking out five.
