PHILADELPHIA – The season continues on for the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team, hosting its second meet of the year Sunday as Gymnastics East Conference foe West Chester, Towson and Ursinus visit The Palestra at 2 p.m.

Sunday's quad-meet also marks Senior Day for the Quakers as the program's seven seniors—
Ariyana Agarwala,
Najah Curtis,
Rebekah Lashley,
McCaleigh Marr,
Sarah Penuela-Wermers,
Ali Karpousis and
Carly Kulevich—will be honored with a special pre-meet ceremony.

The Quakers head into the weekend looking for a meet win for the fourth consecutive week. Penn is 7-4 overall on the year with a perfect record in both Ivy (2-0) and GEC (4-0) competition.

Quaker Notemeal
*Penn took down Cornell last weekend in Ithaca, tallying its best score of the season so far (195.250), also good for the fourth-best mark in program history.
*A big reason for Penn's success against the Big Red was their performance on the vault, recording a team mark of 49.075, the third-best in program history.
*
Olivia VanHorn took home top honors on the vault with her 9.875.
*
McCaleigh Marr (9.850) and
Marissa Lassiter (9.750) placed first and second overall on the uneven bars.
*
Campbell Marr had a special week, placing first on the balance beam with her career-high score of 9.925 which put her into a tie for second all-time in the event. It also marked the best individual score of any event this season.
*Marr was subsequently named GEC Specialist of the Week on Wednesday.
*Lassiter led the Quakers with a 9.850 on the floor exercise to finish second overall.
*Penn heads into the meet ranked #46 overall by Road To Nationals, falling a place after being ranked #45 the past few weeks.
*West Chester is ranked #61 by RTN, just ahead of Cornell (#62) and just behind Yale (#60). The Golden Rams have enjoyed plenty of success this season, going 7-3 overall with a 2-0 record in GEC play. WCU topped Ursinus, 193.550-187.075 its last time out.
*Ursinus has faced West Chester its last two meets, falling in both. The Bears are searching for their first win since the season-opener at Cortland on Jan. 15 where they tallied a season-high score of 185.80. Ursinus heads into Sunday's meet ranked #77 by RTN.
*Towson is having a quality season so far, ranked #30 by RTN. The Tigers have regularly posted scores of 196.000 and above this season, having won six consecutive matchups with a record of 11-2. Towson's last defeat came back on Jan. 29 at West Virginia.
*Sunday's meet will be streamed live on ESPN+ (subscription required) with live stats provided via StatBroadcast.
