PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team is back at home this weekend, doubling up the fun with a true Ivy League weekend at The Palestra. Columbia comes to town on Friday night for a 7 p.m. tipoff, followed by Ivy League co-leader Cornell. The Quakers and Big Red—who have the best overall record in the Ivy League, at 15-5—will tip off on Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Series with Columbia
*The Quakers own a 147-93 record over the Lions. That said, Columbia's 93 wins are second among Ivy programs against Penn—only Princeton has more, with 120—and the Lions won last year's meeting at The Palestra, 73-69.
*Penn has won seven of the last nine meetings, including a 84-55 victory last month in New York City.
Jordan Dingle was simply spectacular in the win, scoring 33 points in just 30 minutes, while
Jonah Charles knocked down all four of his three-point shots en route to 14 points.
The Series with Cornell
*The Quakers have a 161-76 lead over the Big Red and have dominated the series the last several years, winning five of the last six and 18 of the last 21 meetings. That includes eight straight wins at The Palestra.
*All that being said, the Big Red roared past the Quakers last month in Ithaca, using a 13-0 run to overtake Penn en route to an 88-69 win.
Dingle led Penn with 21 points in the loss, followed by
Clark Slajchert (15) and
Max Martz (13).
