Men’s Basketball Announces Ivy League Slate Ahead of Palestra’s 100th Anniversary

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men's Basketball, Fran McCaffery, has announced the Ivy League portion of his program's 2026-27 schedule ahead of the 100th Anniversary of the historic Palestra.
 
The reigning Ivy League Tournament Champions open conference play against rival Princeton at Jadwin Gym on Monday, Jan. 4. The Quakers continue on the road as they visit Brown on Jan. 8. The first home Ivy match ups take place over MLK weekend as Harvard (Jan. 16) and Dartmouth (Jan. 18) visit the Palestra. Penn concludes January with a road trip to Yale on Jan. 23 followed by another home series against Cornell (Jan. 29) and Columbia (Jan. 30)
 
February tips off with Penn-Princeton at the Palestra on Jan.6. The Red and Blue then hit the road, visiting Cornell on Feb. 12 and Columbia on Feb. 13 before returning home for a single match up against Yale on Feb. 20. Penn visits Harvard (Jan. 26) and Dartmouth (Jan. 27) to close out the month of February. The 2026-27 regular wraps up at home against Brown on Friday, March 5.
 
The 2027 Ivy League Tournament will take place Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13 at the historic Palestra in Celebration of the arena's 100th Anniversary.
