ORANGE, Calif. – The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team opened its California trip on Wednesday evening at Chapman, cruising to a 92-46 victory to move to 3-1 for the season.

*All of Penn's available players saw time with 11 of the 14 scoring points.
 
*Junior Stina Almqvist registered her third 20-plus point game of the season, knocking in a game-high 20 points on 9-for-15 shooting. She added eight rebounds, narrowly missing her third straight double-double.
 
*Senior captain Jordan Obi put away 18 points to go with a game-high nine rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and two assists.
 
*Junior Lizzy Groetsch and freshman Abby Sharpe each added double-digit scoring efforts, finishing with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
 
*The Quakers shot 58.1 percent from the floor, 50 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.3 percent from the line.
 
*Of the 92 points, Penn scored 56 in the paint and converted 31 points off Panther turnovers.
 
How It Happened
The Quakers never trailed in the game, put Chapman tied the game three times in the opening three minutes after trading buckets. It was quickly followed by seven straight points by the Quakers, five from the hands of Obi to push ahead for good.
 
Controlling the lead for 94 percent of the contest, the Quakers built up their largest lead of 46 in the closing seconds of the game when Iyanna Rogers pulled in an offensive board and laid it back up in to polish off the score.
