ROCKVILLE, Md. – In its final scheduled event of the 2023 fall season, the University of Pennsylvania men's golf team finished 11th out of 13 teams at the Georgetown Intercollegiate, which concluded Monday afternoon. The two-day, 54-hole event was played on the par-72 North Course at Woodmont Country Club.

Penn shot 304 and 306 in Sunday's first and second rounds, then carded 315 on Monday to finish the event at 61-over-par 925. Florida was the team champion, carding an even-par 864 to defeat second-place Loyola (Md.) by 17 strokes. Among the other Ivy teams in the field, Princeton was fifth with a three-round score of 906 while Columbia scored 914 and finished ninth.
 
Individually, junior John Richardson and freshman Hayden Adams both carded 231 for the event and tied for 35th in a field of 74 golfers. The Quakers' other freshman, Max Fonseca, shot 234 and tied for 49th, while junior Ben Scott carded 239 and junior George Roessler shot 241.
 
Florida had three of the top five scores on the individual leaderboard, led by Matthew Kress who finished at 5-under-par 211. That was four strokes ahead of four other players who finished at 1-under-par 215.
