GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team moved up a few spots to finish in sixth place out of 12 teams at the Wildcat Fazio Invite. The two-day, 54-hole event was hosted by Villanova and took place on the par-71 course at Galloway National Golf Club.

Penn posted the third-best team score in Tuesday's final round, carding 300. That left the Quakers at 905 (+53) for the tournament. The only two teams to shoot better then the Red and Blue on Tuesday were the two teams at the top of the leaderboard, host Villanova's 298 leaving the Wildcats as champion (882, +30) while Georgetown's 297 kept the Hoyas in second (884, +32).
 
Penn's low scorer for the tournament was Ryan Chang, who was in the field as an individual. He shot 74 on Tuesday to finish the event at 9-over-par 222, which had him tied for sixth in a field of 72 golfers. From the lineup, Hayden Adams and Kayden Wang led the way as Adams shot a final-round 73 and Wang carded a 76 to leave both of them at 12-over-par 225 and tied for 12th overall.
 
Arjun Caprihan shot a final-round 74 and ended the tournament tied for 26th (228, +15), while Wesley Hu finished tied for 32nd (229, +16) and Max Fonseca scored for Penn on Tuesday with a final-round 77.
 
Georgetown's Carson Erick took medalist honors at the Wildcat Fazio, shooting a final-round 69 to overtake the field at 3-over-par 216. That left him a stroke up on Villanova's Ryan Palmer and Navy's Chip Deegan.

Penn will be back in action this Saturday and Sunday, competing in the Princeton Invitational in what is the Quakers' last tournament tuneup before the Ivy League Championship later this month.
