BROOKLYN, N.Y. – In one final Ivy Round-Robin tune-up, the University of Pennsylvania men's and women's fencing programs head to Long Island University (LIU) this Sunday for the Tri-State Shark Showcase.

The women won their first nine matches during the Philadelphia Invitational, highlighted by wins over pre-season #10 Duke and #11 Temple. Additionally, the Quakers beat FDU and Lafayette—dropping just a single point across those two matches— NJIT, Wagner, NYU, Sacred Heart, and Wayne State.
