PHILADELPHIA – The NCAA released its bids to the 2026 Fencing Championships, with ten fencers from the University of Pennsylvania programs earning automatic bids.

Victoria Kuznetsov,
Simon Lioznyansky, and
Joseph Wu, foil athletes
Kimberley Jang and
Conrad Lo, and saber athletes
Leah Blum,
Antonio Heathcock,
Lila Paul, and
Jaesun Yun will represent Penn at the NCAA Championships hosted by Notre Dame, March 19-22.
Sophomore Heathcock and junior Kuznetsov led the charge for Penn, earning medals in their weapons. Heathcock earned gold at saber while Kuznetsov grabbed bronze at epee to round out the Red and Blue, who earned top-three finishes. On the men's side, six other Quakers landed in the top ten at their weapons, with junior Wu coming in seventh (epee), freshman Lo eighth (foil), freshman Lioznyansky (epee) ninth, and sophomore Yun in tenth (saber).
For the women, four other Quakers earned top ten finishes, with freshman Jang trailing Kuznetsov in third (foil), junior Blum in tied fourth (saber), junior Hu in fifth (epee), and freshman Paul in sixth (saber).
Penn hits the piste again, March 19-22, for the NCAA Championships hosted by Notre Dame.
