How It Happened
The Quakers largely controlled the early portion of the match, tallying five shots to Navy's two through the opening 30 minutes, including a 2-1 advantage in on-target attempts.

In the 36th minute, a right-side cross into the box from Okafor deflected off the chest of a Navy defender and bounced right to Stewart, who blasted a shot from point-blank range past the off-balance keeper.
Less than five minutes later, a Teuschl header nearly put Penn up by two but the Navy keeper got just enough of the ball to keep it from crossing the line. Neither team managed a shot the rest of the half

Penn's prowess on both sides of the ball continued well into the second half, with Penn managing four more shots, including three on goal, to Navy's one through the 70th minute.

In the 81st minute, however, Navy knotted the match by cashing in on a persistent attack. Penn had three corner kicks and three more shots in the match's final minutes after that but couldn't push the tie-breaking goal across.
