PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf program heralds in a new era this weekend, as
recently hired head coach Clay White brings his team to Colgate's Alex Lagowitz Memorial. The Lagowitz is a 54-hole event that will run Saturday and Sunday on the University's Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
Penn is one of three Ivy teams in the field, along with Cornell and Yale. Overall, 14 teams will vie for the title including White's former team, Seton Hall. This is Penn's third appearance at the Lagowitz, the others coming in 2017 and 2018. Of note, former Quaker Josh Goldenberg took individual medalist honors in 2017.

Coach White says…
"I'm excited to see the guys get out there and play this weekend, so we can get a feel for where we are as a program. It's been fun getting to know the players over the last week or so. I have felt a tremendous amount of positive energy around the program, from near and far. Overall, just excited to have the guys competing!"
