PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania track and field program takes on the NCAA Division I Outdoor T&F East Region Preliminaries, beginning on Wednesday in Bloomington, Indiana.
 
The Red and Blue sent 18 Quakers to Indiana University for the week, all competing to earn a spot at NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
 
To qualify for regionals, the Quakers had to rank among the top 48 in their respective events. In addition, the best 24 relays times earned spots at preliminaries. The top 12 times/marks and the best 12 relay teams at both the East and West preliminary round will qualify for Eugene.
