JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Pennsylvania women's track and field team closed out the NCAA East First Round in Jacksonville, Fla. on Saturday with
Angeludi Asaah punching her ticket to the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
On her first attempt of the day, Asaah recorded a mark of 56.32m (184'9") in discus, second at the end of the first round. Her mark fell to fifth after three rounds of throwing, safely securing her a top 12 qualifying spot to advance to Eugene, Ore.
Adannia Agbo seeded 27th heading into the meet, placed 20th with a third round mark of 12.66m (41' 6.5").
Zofia Limbert finished 43rd in the high jump clearing the bar at 1.69m (5' 6.5").
Chikaodinaka Akazi, Fore Abinusawa,
Milan Ramey, and
Mary Rozier placed 21st in the 4x100m relay clocking in a time of 44.64.
Abinusawa placed 14th in the 100m quarterfinals with a season-best time of 10.30.
