Penn-Northwestern Series
The Quakers are battling the Wildcats for the 20th time in program history on Sunday, as Northwestern holds a 15-4 lead in the all-time series. Penn has won two of the last four meetings with the last coming in 2017 in Illinois, 10-7. The last two times the teams squared off in Philadelphia, the games went to overtime. The Wildcats won the last one in 2018, 12-11, and the Quakers won the other in 2016, 14-13.

Last Time We Met
The last matchup was on March 31, 2019, in Evanston with Northwestern taking the 17-13 decision. A matchup between the No. 6 Quakers at No. 5 Northwestern had Penn mount a second half rally, but the Wildcats 13-7 lead through the first half was enough to hold off the visiting squad. Zoe Belodeau led the scoring with four goals, while Taylyn Stadler had three goals all in the first half. Gabby Rosenzweig had a six-point game, sending out four assists to go with two goals.

About Northwestern
The Wildcats enter Sunday's game with a 9-2 record, 3-0 in Big Ten play. They hold a 4-2 record over top 25 teams this season, taking victories over No. 17 Notre Dame (17-16), No. 3 Syracuse (16-15 OT), No. 6 Stony Brook (16-12), and No. 12 Michigan (12-9). Their trip to Pennsylvania this week started at Penn State on Friday, taking down the Nittany Lions, 17-6. Northwestern has a pair of players over 50 points for the year so far, led by Lauren Gilbert with 58 off 40 goals and 18 assists. She is closely followed by Erin Coykendall with 51 points off 30 goals and 21 assists. Between the pipes, Madison Doucette has started all 11 games with nine victories, maintaining a 12.21 goals-against average and .408 save percentage.

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers are looking to bounce back after a road loss in Ivy League play last Saturday to Yale, 11-10. Penn had a lead through three quarters, but a 5-1 run in the final frame by the Bulldogs earned them the one-goal decision. Penn dominated the draw, winning 17 of the 25, including six in the first quarter and five in the final frame. Kennon Moon had seven of the 17 for the Quakers, just one shy of the Bulldogs' total. The Quakers had three players with three points. Chloe Hunter had a hat trick of goals, while Niki Miles sent out three assists. Maria Themelis' three points came from a free-position goal and two assists.
