PHILADELPHIA – Following a victory on Sunday at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational hosted by George Washington, two members of the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team earned Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) weekly honors as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.

Natalie Yang had the GEC Performance of the Week and sophomore
Sara Kenefick was tabbed as the GEC Gymnast of the Week.
Natalie Yang posted her career high in the beam to help Penn score 48.950 points in the event as a team. Yang won the event in the quad-meet with a score of 9.875.
Sara Kenefick picked up weekly honors from the GEC for the first time this season after a strong performance in the nation's capital. In just the second meet in her collegiate career, Kenefick improved her scores from her debut in all three of her events. She posted a mark of 9.825 on the beam and recorded a score of 9.650 for her floor routine.
