PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team totaled four goals in its second consecutive match. The Quakers needed just nine minutes to open the score.
Sizzy Lawton led the match with two goals as she had one in each half. The Quakers extended their win streak to three and remain unbeaten at home.

*Penn remains perfect at Rhodes Field in 2021, improving to 9-0-0.
*Penn outshot Yale, 16-12, both teams recorded seven shots on goal. Penn totaled eight shots in each half.
*The corner kicks were very much in Penn's favor as the home team took six to just two by Yale.
*Lawton (2g) and
Isobel Glass (1g) led the Quakers in scoring the first three goals as
Mia Shenk added the fourth goal for Penn.
Emily Pringle added two assists and
Janae Stewart had the other.

Laurence Gladu made seven saves in the victory as she turned in her fifth clean sheet in 2021.
How It Happened
In the ninth minute, Lawton took a ball through the Bulldogs defense and slotted one past the Yale keeper. Lawton's second goal of the season gave the Quakers an early 1-0 advantage.
The reigning Ivy League rookie of the week led the sequence for Penn's second goal, as Stewart's pass to
Emily Pringle made its way to Glass for the score. This would be her fourth goal in three matches.
Penn held off a pressing Yale offense in the second half as Gladu made three saves keeping her clean sheet in tack.
Lawton took a deflected ball and fired it past the Bulldogs keeper for her second goal of the match.
In the 89th minute, the Quaker offense added another goal as Pringle sent a deflected ball to a heavily guarded Shenk. The senior was able to get free and find the back of the net for the fourth Penn goal and her team-leading sixth goal on the season.
