How It Happened

The Brown offense kept the Quakers defense busy as the they fired off 10 shots in the first half. Three shots were on goal, with Gladu making two saves.

Fontenot had the Quakers only shot of the opening half as her shot was pushed well above target.

Brown had two back-to-back chances to add to their goal total. The first came at the top of the box, as a Brown shot hit the left post and ricocheted away from the goal. The second came off a corner for the Bears as the kick was deflected off a header by a Quaker that hit the crossbar and directed towards the sideline.

The Quaker offense picked up its pace in the final minutes of the match trying to generate some offense but to no avail as the Bears defense made the necessary stops.
