The Series with Yale
The Quakers have won the past three meetings against the Bulldogs, with two of those being at Vagelos Field. In the past nine matchups, Penn has taken eight of the decisions, only falling in 2016 in Connecticut, 3-2. Dating back to 1973, the Quakers own a 29-13-2 series record.
Last Time We Met
In October 2019, the two teams battled in Philadelphia with the Quakers earning the 4-2 victory. The Bulldogs took the early 1-0 lead in the second minute, but
Lily Clarkson and Elita van Staden responded to give Penn a 2-1 advantage by the 42nd minute. Although Yale responded in the third quarter, finishes by Laura Shelton and van Staden in the closing 10 minutes gave the Quakers their third Ivy victory of the season.
