Sophie Freedman and
Olivia Kenny. However, a goal by Harvard (8-1, 2-0 Ivy) in the third quarter followed by two more in the fourth kept its untouched league record intact.

How It Happened
The first quarter was controlled by the Quakers, including back-to-back penalty corners in the opening six minutes which resulted in shots on goal by
Sydney Huang and Banks. The Crimson did have an opportunity of their own in the ninth minute, but a split save by Paumen kept the game scoreless through one.
Â
Paumen and Banks played key roles on the back line in the second quarter, totaling three saves while the offense secured the first goal of the game in the 28th minute. Friedman found some room in the middle of the circle and took the first rip on target. A sliding save by Harvard goalkeeper Ellie Shahbo deflected the ball back out to the Kenny's stick, and she sent a shot into the back of the cage.
Â
The Quakers slowed down a high-scoring Crimson offense through the first 30 minutes, but the third quarter saw a penalty corner work in Harvard's favor to level the game at 1-1. In the final frame, another penalty corner gave the Crimson their first lead, and an empty netter in the final minute sealed the decision.
