STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track & field team enjoyed yet another tremendous day, setting 11 top-10 marks and times in program history at the Sykes Sabock Challenge, hosted by Penn State.

Jake Kubiatowicz headlined the day with a program record in the weight throw, launching a toss of 19.57m (64-2.50) in his last throw of the day.
Jared Elters, for the second straight week, showed out in the 60m dash, winning the event in 8.21, the eighth-best time in program history. The short sprints have been a calling card for the Quakers in both men's and women's competition. On the women's side on Saturday, Mia Knight, Elena Brown-Soler and Grace O'Shea finished second through fourth in the 60m dash, putting up a pair of top-10 performances. Brown-Solers' time of 7.59 moved her into sixth all-time and O'Shea's 7.60 placed her seventh.
The 200m was another stellar race for the Penn women, placing four in the top 10 in the event and all four were top-10 in program history. Cecil Ene won the event in 24.07, topping her PR and setting a new second-best time in program history. Brown-Soler finished fourth in 24.40, fifth all-time; Lauryn Harris ran a 24.66 to move into seventh and Knight crossed the line in 24.84, the 10th-best time.
In the 60m hurdles, O'Shea won once again in 8.46, finishing just ahead of Breanne Bygrave (8.56) while Skyla Wilson finished sixth in 8.71. In field events, Victoria Agyin and Mayyi Mahama excelled with No. 2 marks in the triple jump and weight throw, respectively.
In addition to the top-10 times, Penn won plenty of events on Saturday. Uchechi Nwogwugwu won the 400m in 54.42, Ene was second and Wilson third in 55.40, now the fifth-best time in program history. Nia Akins cruised to the 600m win in 1:27.96, Katie DeVore won the 800m in 2:12.48 and Maura Kimmel won the shot put with a mark of 15.60m.
The men's team earned a few wins as well, headlined by Elters' win in the 60m hurdles. Anthony Russo won the 3,000m in 8:20.02; the 4x400m team won in 3:16.29; and Sean Clarke won the pole vault with a clearance of 5.11m.
