Last Time Out: W, 11-9 vs. Rutgers (Feb. 26, 2020)
  -
Penn outshot the Scarlet Knights 41-20, led by Erin Barry's 11. Freshman Kelly Van Hoesen secured her first career victory in net for the Quakers, making five saves.
  - Barry and Taylyn Stadler carried the load offensively, putting away three goals apiece, while Elyse Decker and Gabby Rosenzweig each contributed two themselves.
  - After the Quakers and Scarlet Knights shared the first five goals of the game, Penn created some separation at the outset of the second half, doubling up Rutgers at 6-3. However, led by first-year head coach Melissa Lehman, Rutgers battled back with three consecutive goals to level the score at 6-6. Penn countered right back, scoring within 30 seconds of the equalizer to take control of the contest once more and widened the lead to 9-6, before sealing an 11-9 victory.

Series History
Penn is 24-18-1 all-time against Yale and hasn't dropped a matchup with the Bulldogs since a 14-7 loss in New Haven, riding a 20-game win streak into Saturday.

In last year's meeting at Franklin Field, Penn broke away with a 15-4 victory, spurred on by seven points from Gabby Rosenzweig, who scored twice to go along with her five assists.

Simply The Best
After setting the program record for career points against Johns Hopkins last weekend, Rosenzweig now eyes another program record. With 124 career assists, the senior is just three shy of matching the mark, set by Nina Corcoran (2013-16).

Great Expectations
The 2020 campaign begins with Penn ranked in multiple national polls. The Quakers enter the weekend ranked No. 12 in the IWLCA Preseason Coaches' Poll, No. 9 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Preseason Top-20, and No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse Division I Media Poll.

National Notoriety
Rosenzweig and Barry enter their senior years with plenty watching. The pair both earned preseason All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse, including a third-team selection for Rosenzweig and an honorable mention honor for Barry. Both also landed on the Tewaaraton Award watch list, the third time for Rosenzweig, who has been in the award's final 25 each of the past two seasons, and the second time for Barry.

All-Ivy Returners
Penn returns seven of its eight All-Ivy selections in 2019, including unanimous first-team selections Barry, Rosenzweig, and fellow first-team selection Zoe Belodeau. Second-team selections Chelsea Kibler, Abby Bosco, and Mikaila Cheeseman, as well as honorable mention Michaela McMahon round out the seven.
