PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania baseball team continues its season with a trip to Diamond Nation in Flemington, N.J. on Tuesday to face Lafayette with first pitch coming at 3:30 p.m.
The Quakers return to the Mid-Atlantic from their spring break trip with a 4-4 record after securing series wins over Duke and Winthrop.

THE MATCHUP
This will mark the 126th meeting between Penn and Lafayette, with the first meeting between the Pennsylvania rivals dating back to 1882. The Leopards won the first meeting, 10-6, but the Quakers hold the edge with a 75-49-1 head-to-head record. The two teams last met on March 28, 2017. Penn won the midweek game, 9-8, just days after a four-game weekend sweep of the Leopards.

Craig Larsen was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week and Big 5 Player of the Week after posting a .421/.522/.737 slash line in a pair of midweek games against Duke and a three-game series with Winthrop. In those games, he went 8-19 from the plate with six RBI, six runs scored, three doubles, and a home run.
