Karekin Brooks has been named one of 36 FCS football players to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS National Player of the Year Watch List.
An honorable mention All-Ivy selection in 2017, Brooks rushed for 840 yards and nine touchdowns last season. His 6.72 yards-per-carry ranked No. 4 among all FCS players and set a new Penn single-season record.
Brooks had a breakout game in his first career start at Lehigh in 2017, rushing for 268 yards – five off the Penn single game record – and three touchdowns.
Brooks enters the 2018 season with 946 career rushing yards and 10 career rushing touchdowns.
The Quakers open 2018 against Bucknell at Franklin Field on September 15. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
