2026 Football Schedule Announced Ahead of 150th Anniversary of Program

PHILADELPHIA – With all eyes on the Rick Santos era, the University of Pennsylvania football team announced its schedule ahead of the 2026 season on Wednesday morning.

"This season represents something special—not only the beginning of a new chapter for our program, but also a celebration of 150 years of Penn Football," said George A. Munger Head Coach Rick Santos. "We stand on the shoulders of great players, coaches, and teams who built this tradition and established a championship standard.

"We're honored to carry that responsibility forward every day in how we work, compete, and represent this university. There is tremendous excitement within our building, and we look forward to building a team that honors Penn Football's history while competing to create a legacy of its own."

Penn will open the 150th season of the program on the road before kickstarting the home action with a Sept. 26 matchup against Lehigh at Franklin Field. That will be the first of five home games for the Quakers in 2026.

The season kicks off Sept. 19 at Bucknell, followed by a regional rivalry renewal a week later in University City on Sept. 26 when Penn takes on defending Patriot League champion, Lehigh.

Penn opens its Ivy League schedule during the first weekend of October at Dartmouth and then closes non-conference action with the first meeting against Howard in program history on Saturday, Oct. 10.

The Quakers are staying in the City of Brotherly Love following the meeting with the Bison, hosting Columbia on Oct 17, before a big matchup with the defending Ivy League champion Bulldogs on Oct. 24.

Penn heads back on the road a week later for a Halloween battle against Brown on Oct. 31. The Red and Blue will contest Cornell for the Trustees' Cup, one of the nation's longest active rivalries.

The Quakers return to Franklin Field for the last time in 2026 to celebrate Homecoming and the senior class, hosting the defending Ivy League champion Crimson on Nov. 14. The regular season closes out on Nov. 21 on the road at archrival Princeton.

Season ticket renewals and new season tickets will go live at noon on Wednesday. Fans can claim their seats by clicking this link.

Season tickets for the historic 2026 season will start as low as $75 for adults and $45 for youth.
