Philadelphia Soccer Six
There is much to be played for among city competition with the final games of the year on deck for the week. With Villanova atop the table at 1-0-1 on the year, Penn, Temple, Drexel and Saint Joseph's all have a chance to claim a slice of the championship with a win this week.

Kohlbrenner Comes in Clutch
Over the weekend, the Quakers earned a come-from-behind draw behind a clutch goal in the 85th minute from sophomore Jake Kohlbrenner. Down 1-0 with time winding down, junior captain Brandon Bartel set up a free kick opportunity, sending the ball to the middle of the box and deflecting off the hands of the Yale goalkeeper. The ball fell to the feet of Kohlbrenner, who shot past several Bulldog defenders to score Penn's first goal of the game. The goal was Kohlbrenner's third in his career.

Scott Makes Saves
Senior goalkeeper Scott Forbes is in the midst of his most successful year between the pipes for the Quakers, ranking 24th nationally with a save percentage of 0.814. The New Jersey native also continues to sport a goals against average of less than one per game.

Going the Distance
In addition to Forbes playing every minute in the goal for Penn this season, the Quakers have found nice stability in their defensive unit with all four playing at least 1,105 of the possible 1,115 minutes on the field this season, including three playing every second. RC Williams, Alex Touche and Erumuse Momoh have not checked out of a game once this season for the Quakers.

Scouting the Owls
The Owls enter the midweek matchup with an overall record of 4-8-3, including a 1-3-1 mark in conference play. Temple is currently in the midst of a four-match winless streak, including losses in its last three appearances on the pitch. The two teams share one common opponent at this point of the season, having both played UMBC. Penn battled the Retrievers to a 0-0 draw, while Temple opened the year against UMBC, falling 1-0. Lukas Fernandes leads the team with 14 points on five goals and four assists, while seven other players have notched at least one goal on the year. Simon Lefebvre has allowed 17 goals in between the pipes with a save percentage of .726.
