PHILADELPHIA – Week Two of the 2017 women's lacrosse season will feature No. 10 Penn taking the field for its first Top-20 matchup of the season as the Quakers head to Baltimore on Saturday to take on No. 18 Johns Hopkins at Homewood Field. First draw with the Blue Jays is set for 1 p.m.

Penn is 2-0 on the young season, coming off a 9-7 win at Delaware to open the season. Hopkins is 3-0, coming off a 12-8 win at Loyola on Wednesday evening.

Notes To Know
• Penn is 4-6 all-time against Johns Hopkins.
• Saturday will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2011, an 8-5 win for Hopkins in Baltimore.
• Penn is 2-4 all-time at Homewood Field, and has not won there since 2009.
• Junior attacker Caroline Cummings is coming off a season-opener where she scored five times, earning Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors.
• Cummings has scored 17 goals over her last seven games dating back to last season. She has scored two or more in each of her last five, and three or more in her last three appearances.
• Junior midfielder Alex Condon scored twice on Saturday. She now has scored two or more goals in 10 of her last 14 games.

About Johns Hopkins
• The Blue Jays are in the first season competing in the Big Ten after years as an independent.
• Hopkins was chosen No. 4 in the Big Ten Preseason Poll.
• Hopkins will be making its home debut on Saturday after posting a 3-0 record on the road to open 2017.
• The Blue Jays have outscored opponents, 42-24 to start the season. A big part of that number is an 18-6 win at American to open the year.
• Junior Emily Kenul leads Hopkins with 10 goals and three assists over three games. A second-team All-Region selection in 2016, Kenul earned her 100th career point on Wednesday night at Loyola.
• Miranda Ibello had five assists on Wednesday, giving her nine points so far this season after totaling just 21 all of last season.
• Senior Hailey Schweizer has six goals this season, and is a three-time All-Region selection.
• Senior goalkeeper Caroline Federico has posted a .442 save percentage this season and an 8.00 GAA. Last year, she was No. 15 in the country in saves with 146.

On Wednesday, the Blue Jays put together a 7-1 run over 21:00 of game play to take command in a 12-8 win at Loyola. Hopkins kept the Greyhounds off the scoreboard for a stretch of 27:04 to all but close the game before a meaningless Loyola goal with 33 seconds remaining. The win was just the third all-time for Hopkins over Loyola, each coming since 2012.
