PREVIEWING PENN
*The Quakers enter Friday night unbeaten in their last three matches following a 2-0 win over Delaware State Monday at Rhodes Field. Emily Sands and Maddie Dawkins powered Penn past the Hornets with second-half scores, both of which were their first of the season.

*Penn is also unbeaten in its last five Ivy League road contests (3-0-2), with the last loss coming in a 1-0 result at Brown in October 2015. Overall, the Quakers are 3-2-3 under head coach Nicole Van Dyke away from Rhodes in conference play.

*Additionally, Penn has not lost an Ivy League contest in its last six (2-0-4) dating back to September of last season when the Quakers were stunned in overtime by Columbia, 1-0.

*Penn leads the all-time series with Columbia, 13-9-4, and the Quakers have earned three points in four of the last six meetings with the Lions. The Quakers won four-straight matchups from 2010-2014 and tied Lions in 2015 before ending up on the wrong side of 1-0 result last season.

*Goalkeeper Kitty Qu continues to stay atop the Ivy League ranks, standing second in shutouts (4) while maintaining third in both goals against average (.545) and save percentage (.861).

NEWS AND NOTES: COLUMBIA
*The Lions enter their second weekend of conference play boasting the most goals (28) in the Ancient Eight as well as the second-best scoring margin (1.46).

*Natalie Neshat has been a proven leader for Columbia all season, ranking second in the Ivy League in goals (8) and points (17), while Emma Anderson's seven goals and 16 points are currently third and fourth, respectively.

*Columbia has yet to lose at home this season, recording a 5-0-1 record in six matches at Commisso Stadium, while also not allowing a goal since September 17 in a 3-2 loss in overtime at Saint Joseph's. The Lions have held visiting teams to just three goals on their home turf all season, including shutouts in their last four home matches.

*The Lions began their Ivy League slate with a 2-0 triumph over Cornell on September 22 before capturing a 1-0 overtime win over Brown Saturday, benefiting from Neshat's 99th minute goal in the first overtime period.
