PHILADELPHIA ? The George A. Munger Head Coach of Football Al Bagnoli has announced the commitment of 26 student-athletes to the University of Pennsylvania football program.
The Class of 2010 hails from 14 different states and includes a number of all-state selections and several players from teams that captured state championships last season.
“We feel especially good about the skill players in this class,” said Bagnoli. “Our incoming group of wide receivers, defensive backs and quarterback were rated very highly and will be given an opportunity to compete for playing time as freshmen. We are hoping that some of them will step up and contribute immediately.”
There are a total of ten offensive players, 14 defensive players, one combo player and one kicker in the class.
