Michaela Dungan joined the University of Pennsylvania volleyball program as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2022 season. Dungan helps to assist the Quakers coaching staff while also performing her duties as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).

Dungan recently graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where she was a four-year letter winner for the Highlanders’ volleyball team. She also was a member of NJIT’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as its President for two years. Dungan was the America East Conference’s SAAC Vice-Chair as a junior and an NCAA Division I representative as a senior. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from NJIT with a degree in biology, making the Dean’s List every semester.
