Jordynn Kurcoba joined the University of Pennsylvania's Division of Recreation and Intercollege Athletics (DRIA) as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in July 2024.
 
Kurcoba came to Penn from Cornell University, where she spent nearly three years working directly with the Big Red’s women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s sailing, and men’s and women’s squash programs while also assisting with numerous other varsity programs. As part of her job, she coordinated the department’s student employees and was an active participant on Cornell Athletics’ Mental Health Committee.
 
Kurcoba attended Bloomsburg (Pa.) University where she played women’s lacrosse and was a captain of the Huskies’ 2019 team. She graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and got her master’s degree in exercise science in 2020. While pursuing her master’s, Kurcoba spent the 2018-19 academic year as a graduate assistant in the school’s Exercise Science department and the 2019-20 academic year as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach.
 
Kurcoba is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA, Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified by the CSCCa, and certified in Adult First Aid CPR/AED by the American Red Cross.
