Pizzuto was hired as an assistant women’s soccer coach by Dr. Turner in the winter of 2024.
Pizzuto arrives in University City after spending last season as an assistant coach with Loyola Maryland while also serving as the Director of Coaching at The Player Project since 2021. Prior to her stint with the Grey Hounds, Pizzuto spent the 2022 season as a Graduate Assistant with the DeSales University women’s soccer program.
As a student-athlete, Pizzuto spent two seasons at Rowan University, where she was named second-team All-NJAC during her senior season in 2021. In goal, she compiled a 21-11-2 record and held an 83.5 save percentage. With the Profs, Pizzuto recorded 137 saves throughout her career, including nine shutouts her senior year.
Pizzuto spent the 2018 season with Penn State Berks, where she established a 15-4-2 record, posted six shutouts and earned an NEAC Championship. Pizzuto began her career at Penn State where she was a member of two Big Ten Championship teams from 2016-17.
Pizzuto graduated from Rowan with her bachelor of science in exercise science, and later completed her graduate degree with a masters of education in higher education administration from DeSales.
As a coach, Pizzuto owns a USSF C License, a USC Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma and a UEFA Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate.
