Prior to Arizona State: A 2019 McDonald's All-American Game nominee from the state of New Jersey, Caldwell was ranked No. 28 at her position by ESPN.com … As a senior in 2019, Caldwell averaged 14.0 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 4.1 spg in helping lead her Saddle River Day squad to a 28-3 record and an appearance in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions final … Accomplishments in 2019 included scoring 20 or more points five times, posting a double-digit rebound total nine times and setting a single-game career-high 11 steals … In 2018, Caldwell averaged 15.8 points, 3.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds at Gill St. Bernard's High School where she led her squad to the South Jersey, Non-Public B semifinals … For her outstanding play in 2018, Caldwell earned First-Team All-Conference, Third-Team All-State (non-public), Honorable Mention All-Area (Courier News) and Honorable Mention All-NJ recognition … As a sophomore, Caldwell averaged 19.6 points per game as a and scored a career-high 36 points in a win over No. 8 Franklin in the semifinals of the Somerset County Tournament … As a freshman in 2016, Caldwell was named First-Team All-Conference, Second-Team All-Area (Courier News) and Honorable Mention All-NJ honors … Played AAU basketball for the New Jersey Sparks, starting all three years and finishing seventh place at the Nike EYBL tournament.
