Kirstin Foncham

Kirstin Foncham joined the University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics (DRIA) as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in October 2025.
 
Foncham came to Penn following a stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, where she was a Rotational Football Operations Fellow in the summer of 2025. Prior to that, she was in Frisco, Texas, first as a personal trainer at EXOS Performance then at Cowboys Fit at the Star before doing an NFL Combine Apprenticeship at the Sports Academy.
 
Foncham attended Louisiana State University, where she was a student manager with the women’s basketball team and earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in physical activity. She then stayed at LSU to earn her Master’s in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise physiology, doing internships in strength and conditioning as well as sports data analytics.
 
Foncham is on course to receive certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in December. She is a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Med (NASM), and holds Level 1 Coaching Certification from USA Weightlifting. Foncham also is BLS/CPR/AED certified by the American Heart Association.
