Prior to joining Delaware Valley, Carter served as Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Cheltenham High School from 2019-2020. He helped lead the program to the 5A State Championship game, marking the first state championship appearance in school history. During that season, the Cheltenham offense produced more than 2,700 passing and rushing yards from its quarterback, who accounted for 28 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns. Carter previously served as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Chichester High School.
Carter's high school coaching career also includes a historic tenure at Cheltenham, where he was part of a program that established a school record with 14 wins, captured the school's first District Championship and advanced to the first state championship appearance in program history.
Throughout his coaching career, Carter has developed a reputation for offensive innovation, detailed opponent preparation and player development, particularly in the passing game and quarterback and wide receiver positions. His combination of collegiate and high school experience brings a valuable perspective to the Penn Sprint Football coaching staff.
